Climate Change 101 - Water and Water Governance by Dr Salmah Zakaria. She is currently a fellow from Academy Sciences of Malaysia (ASM) and was previously the Director General of National Water Research Institute of Malaysia (NAHRIM). Her presentation drew on her extensive experience and touched on the science behind water governance, climate change impacts, and Water Sector Transformation 2040 (WST2040).

Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change - IPCC report sharing by Dr Zalina Zaiton Ibrahim. She is one of the coordinating lead authors for Chapter 16: Key Risks across Sectors and Regions of the Working Group II (Impacts, Adaptation and Vulnerability) in the IPCC AR6 cycle. In her presentation, Dr Zelina shared her experience of writing the IPCC report, and shared the structures of its working groups to demystify the people behind the science. She also shared the key findings of the recent IPCC report and tips on how journalists can read them accurately.

Communicating Climate Change by Dr Sharina Halim. She is one of the lead authors of the IPCC report and is currently the senior lecturer at the Institute for Environment and Development (LESTARI) at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). In her interactive session, she equips the journalist with fact sheets and FAQs to ease the climate science adoption into credible climate stories that are relevant.
